Company Description Daughters of Jijau, an initiative by Egg-perts Produce Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Jeevandaan Foundation, Pune, focuses on creating long-term, systemic change in addressing PCOS/PCOD. The program emphasizes preventive awareness, education, healthcare capacity building, and reducing stigma through community outreach and engagement efforts. With a mission to support and empower women, Daughters of Jijau seeks to improve awareness and healthcare support for PCOS/PCOD in both urban and rural communities. The program is spearheaded by Mr. Sandesh Nitnaware, with logistical backing from Jeevandaan Foundation. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role based in Pune for an experienced Gynecologist. The primary responsibilities includes, providing consultations, and contributing to healthcare training sessions and workshops (educational institutions and officespaces). The Gynecologist will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to raise awareness about PCOS/PCOD and improve community health outcomes through education and capacity-building initiatives. Qualifications Expertise in Gynecology and Obstetrics. Strong foundation in Medicine with a focus on women’s health. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and medical teams. Board-certification or equivalent qualification in Gynecology or Obstetrics. Commitment to community health and advocacy, especially in addressing PCOS/PCOD-related challenges.
