About us Datycs develops enterprise software for healthcare organizations for automating extraction of clinical, administrative and sociodemographic data. Our natural language processing (NLP) technology unlocks valuable information in 80% of health records data that is typically unstructured and unused. Our solutions integrate this information with data from electronic health records, claims, and other administrative and social databases, to provide analytics and actionable insights. These insights improve operational efficiency in several areas including risk adjustment, quality measures, and utilization management. Role: We are looking for a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer who can take full ownership of our DevOps function. This individual will not only manage day-to-day operations but also define and drive the strategy for deployment, automation, monitoring, and reliability of our systems. You will be the primary point of contact for all DevOps-related work, ensuring high availability and scalability of our production systems while supporting development and customer needs. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of deployment manifests, automation scripts, and documentation for applications and infrastructure frameworks. Define and execute deployment strategies across dev, test, and production environments. Build and manage CI/CD frameworks, pipelines, and release processes to ensure smooth, reliable deployments. Proactively monitor and manage clusters, applications, and frameworks to ensure 100% uptime of production environments. Set up, maintain, and optimize logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus). Own and improve automation for deployments, infrastructure management, and operational tasks. Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement fixes swiftly. Collaborate with partners and customers to understand their operational requirements and build frameworks to address them. Manage software release cycles across multiple customers and environments. Mentor and guide junior engineers, while independently managing the full DevOps scope. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of DevOps experience , with at least 3+ years in a senior/lead role managing deployments and operations for enterprise software. Proven experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure ; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus. Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container-based deployments. Experience building and managing CI/CD frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Deep knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus). Strong background in Git workflows , shell scripting, and Linux/Unix environments. Ability to design and implement resilient, highly available systems. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and deliver sustainable fixes. Experience programming in Python or similar scripting languages (preferred). Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while driving DevOps best practices across the organization. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
