The Distributed Data Systems Team designs and develops the back-end storage solutions that allow Dataflare to provide one of the most flexible cloud data management platforms. We are looking for talented engineers who are excited about building and deploying distributed data systems at PB cloud-scale. Your Responsibilities As a Team Lead Understand and be capable of taking on a set of business requirements to craft a solution Mentor and develop a team of engineers Design and develop highly performant, parallelized, and multi-threaded storage algorithms Contribute to the scheduling and programming model that lays the foundation for all features developed as a part of our data platform Skill Sets We Require Ability to develop software in C and C++ Exceptional organizational and leadership skills Knowledge of relational databases and SQL Knowledge of cloud storage and database systems Knowledge of Apache Spark, Apache Parquet Experience with test-driven development Proficiency in software engineering tools Strong presentation and communication skills Experience Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science 5-10 years of experience leading and building production grade systems If you are a skilled, self-driven, and dedicated software engineer who is excited to lead the development of cutting-edge technology, click APPLY !
