Role Overview As a Data Scientist at Cars24, you will be part of the core data team responsible for building scalable, data-driven solutions that impact millions of customers. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to solve complex problems using machine learning, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions. Build and deploy predictive models using techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, etc. Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to generate insights and guide business decisions. Design and implement A/B tests and causal inference models to measure the impact of changes. Monitor and improve the performance of deployed models continuously. Present analytical findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner. Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in a data science or analytics role. Strong programming skills in Python or R; familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy). Experience with SQL and working knowledge of databases. Proven experience in machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.). Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus. Nice-to-Have Experience in the automotive or e-commerce domain. Exposure to real-time data processing or large-scale data pipelines.
