As a Data Science Senior Analyst at the company, you will be responsible for applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes in the area or function. You will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, requiring a comprehensive understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function. Your role will involve evaluating moderately complex issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and balancing conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, and make strategic recommendations - Develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis - Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality - Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems, determining required data, assessing time & effort, and establishing project plans - Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications - Lead system change process from requirements through implementation - Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects - Drive communication between business leaders and IT - Assess risks when making business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience in business and data analysis, process improvement, and project management - Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques - Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Methodical attention to detail - Experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience - Knowledge of Bigdata, Pyspark, Python, and Tableau are added advantages for this role In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services to others in your area of specialization. Your strong communication and diplomacy skills will be essential as you assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams and coach and train new recruits.
