Key Responsibilities
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business and reporting requirements.
- Develop enterprise-grade fact and dimension models following data warehousing best practices.
- Design and implement Star Schema and Snowflake Schema models.
- Apply dimensional modeling principles, including conformed dimensions, bridge tables, snapshots, aggregates, normalization, and denormalization.
- Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 and Type 2).
- Work hands-on with Microsoft Fabric Notebooks, Fabric Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake.
- Build and maintain reusable semantic models for reporting and analytics.
- Support Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics data warehouse architecture and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and Power BI teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Optimize data models and SQL queries for performance across large-scale analytical workloads.
- Establish data modeling standards, documentation, metadata management, and governance practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Data Modeling and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Notebooks.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse.
- Understanding of OneLake concepts and architecture.
- Expert knowledge of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and dimensional modeling.
- Strong understanding of fact and dimension design.
- Advanced SQL / T-SQL skills.
Secondary Skills
- Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server.
- Power BI semantic modeling and Direct Lake.
- Microsoft Fabric SQL endpoints and Delta Lake concepts.
- Kimball dimensional modeling methodology.
- Conformed dimensions, bridge tables, snapshots, aggregates, and SCD patterns.
- Data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- Performance tuning for enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Pay: ₹1,780,000.00 - ₹2,280,000.00 per year
