Data Migration Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy data migration plans to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
• Develop complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to transform and manipulate large datasets for migration purposes.
• Troubleshoot issues during the migration process, identifying root causes and implementing fixes to minimize downtime.

Job Requirements :

• 3-8 years of experience in Data Migration Engineering or related field.
• Strong expertise in Oracle database management system (DBMS) including SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
• Proficiency in data modeling, orchestration, and transformation techniques using various tools such as ETL frameworks like Informatica PowerCenter or Talend.
