Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Data Analyst / MIS & Data Management Engineer to manage and analyse manufacturing and operational data. The candidate will work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Inventory, Quality, Dispatch and Management teams to maintain accurate records, generate MIS reports, track production performance and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse daily production, rejection, wastage and output data.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing MIS reports.
• Monitor production planning versus actual production.
• Track raw material consumption, inventory, stock movement and material utilisation.
• Analyse machine productivity, downtime and production efficiency.
• Maintain purchase, vendor, GRN and material reconciliation data.
• Monitor quality reports, rejection rates and process deviations.
• Track dispatch schedules, pending orders and delivery performance.
• Extract, maintain and analyse data from ERP systems.
• Develop Excel-based reports and Power BI dashboards for management.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Identify data discrepancies and suggest improvements in reporting processes.

Required Skills

• Advanced MS Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and Macros.
• Strong knowledge of MIS reporting and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
• Understanding of production planning and inventory management.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

Graduate/Postgraduate in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, Statistics, IT, Operations or a relevant discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in OEM manufacturing, automotive components, plastic injection moulding, consumer electronics or home appliance manufacturing will be preferred. Experience working with Production, Stores, Purchase and Quality departments will be an added advantage.
