Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Data Vault 2.0 (mandatory), DBT/Coalesce, Snowflake, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Airflow. The candidate will lead data solution design, development, and delivery while ensuring data quality, governance, and engineering best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Data Vault 2.0.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using DBT/Coalesce, Snowflake, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Airflow.
• Lead solution design, architecture discussions, and technical reviews.
• Define and enforce Data Vault standards, governance, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on technical decisions, estimation, and delivery planning.
• Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and scalability of data solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Data Vault 2.0: Strong hands-on implementation experience is mandatory.
• DBT and/or Coalesce implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Apache Airflow.
• Expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
• Experience in solution design, technical reviews, and code reviews.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and automated data quality testing.
• Experience with Snowflake performance optimization and data governance.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
