Data Engineer -Gurgaon (Gurugram)

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and technically versatile Data Engineer to join ourDatabase Engineering team in Gurgaon. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database design, development, automation, performance optimisation and operational support across relational and NoSQL database technologies.

• This role involves working with enterprise database platforms, developing and maintaining automated deployment processes, troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting business-critical applications across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• You will collaborate closely with application development teams, infrastructure specialists and technology partners to design, deliver and maintain reliable, scalable, secure and high- performing database solutions.

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable database solutions across relational and NoSQL platforms, with a focus on database automation, CI/CD deployments, performance optimisation, and production support across cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, Couchbase, and MongoDB.
• Implement database automation and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Liquibase.
• Perform SQL optimisation, database tuning, and performance troubleshooting.
• Manage database deployments across AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
• Ensure database security, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Manage database changes, releases, and incidents using ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with Application, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Work in Agile/Kanban environments using Jira Cloud.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure timely delivery of engineering activities.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
