Programme Overview

The Data Analytics Internship is designed to develop candidates' practical skills in data extraction, data manipulation, business intelligence, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Interns work with business and operational datasets to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), generate meaningful insights, and support organizational decision-making. The programme emphasizes SQL querying, spreadsheet analysis, interactive dashboard development, and automated reporting using industry-standard analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, transform, and aggregate multi-source structured datasets using SQL queries and Excel.
• Perform exploratory and descriptive data analysis to identify business trends, performance patterns, and anomalies.
• Analyze operational and business datasets to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance gaps.
• Build interactive business intelligence dashboards and operational reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Develop charts, graphs, and visual reports to communicate analytical findings effectively.
• Perform comparative, trend, and performance analysis to support business decision-making.
• Automate recurring reports and improve data reporting workflows.
• Write efficient database queries and retrieve information from relational databases.
• Prepare analytical summaries and present data-driven recommendations to project managers and business stakeholders.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the reporting and analysis process.
