Non Profit Organisation Description Darbar Sahitya Sansada (DSS) is a non-profit organization registered under The Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. DSS is dedicated to improving the lives of the poor and marginalized sections of society by building confidence and capacity among vulnerable communities for managing their socio-economic development. Through various initiatives, DSS reaches geographically and socially vulnerable groups such as Scheduled Castes, women, artisans, landless laborers, marginal farmers, and migrant workers. DSS is committed to empowering these communities through innovative and sustainable approaches to development. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Fellow (Gender and Violence) located in Nuapada. The Project Fellow will be responsible for conducting daily project activities as per project deliverables. Tasks will include data collection and analysis, community engagement, reporting, and coordinating with stakeholders to address issues of domestic violence, sexual violence, gender-based discrimination. The role demands active participation in program planning and execution to achieve project objectives. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and Research capabilities Effective Communication skills Experience and proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and overall Research Project Management skills Ability to work on-site in Nuapada, Odisha ( tribal blocks) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or related fields Experience in working with non-profit organizations is a plus Knowledge of gender issues and violence prevention strategies
