As a CAD Designer at DAGA GEMS & JEWELLERY PRIVATE LIMITED, located in Bangalore, India, your primary role will be to create accurate and detailed 3D antique jewelry designs, idols, and structures using software such as ZBrush, Rhino, and MatrixGold. You will be responsible for modeling ornate patterns, filigree, and engravings consistent with traditional designs, as well as producing production-ready CAD files and renderings. Collaboration with design and artisan teams will be crucial to ensure manufacturability, and you will iterate based on feedback from artisans, clients, and internal reviewers. Key Responsibilities: - Create accurate and detailed 3D antique jewelry designs, idols, and structures using ZBrush, Rhino, MatrixGold, etc. - Model ornate patterns, filigree, engravings consistent with traditional designs. - Produce production-ready CAD files and workable renderings. - Collaborate with design/artisan teams to ensure manufacturability. - Iterate based on feedback from artisans, clients, and internal reviewers. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in ZBrush, Rhino, and MatrixGold (Matrix or RhinoGold equally applies). - Strong portfolio showcasing antique-style jewelry, idols, or structural sculptures. - Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing processes: castings, stone settings, and tolerance specifications. - Excellent 3D sculpting ability and attention to intricate detail. - Technical Drawing and Drawing skills. - Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and drafting software. - Experience with Construction Drawings and Design Engineering. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru. - Prior experience in the jewelry industry is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field.,
