Cyber Security Intern

HAXCAMP is looking for passionate Cybersecurity Interns interested in Red Team, Blue Team, Windows security, and Active Directory. This internship offers hands-on experience with attack simulation, security monitoring, forensic investigation, and cybersecurity lab development across various security projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Windows Server, Domain Controllers, and Active Directory environments.
• Perform attack simulations in controlled lab environments and analyze their security impact.
• Generate and analyze Windows Event Logs, Sysmon logs, and memory dumps.
• Develop and test detection rules using tools such as Splunk, Wazuh, and Elastic.
• Assist with incident investigation, digital forensics, and security testing.
• Contribute to cybersecurity labs, automation, documentation, and other security projects.

Requirements

• Strong interest in offensive and defensive cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of Windows, networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Windows Server or Active Directory, or willingness to learn.
• Analytical mindset, troubleshooting skills, and adaptability.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Active Directory, PowerShell, or Windows security tools.
• Familiarity with Sysmon, SIEM platforms, or memory forensics.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or VirtualBox.
• CTFs, TryHackMe, Hack The Box, home labs, or personal security projects.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
