SCOPE OF WORK for GDA Basic care: 1.Helping in mobilisation , toileting, sponging, bathing,Oral care,Back care,skin care,Nail & Foot care. 2.Vitals and I/O monitoring, CBS checking. 3. They will change patient clothes,bedsheet but they will not wash those clothes by hand, if washing machine is there then Female attendant put the sheet. 4.They will prepare light breakfast or evening tea for patient only but they can't prepare lunch, dinner(A full course meal) accordingly. 5.Oral feeding and medication(in supervision of patient relative) 6. Nebulisation,steam inhalation. 7. They can clean catheter site but can't administer Catheter 8.They can shift from bed to chair,toilet with another persons help if pt has limb weakness,devices.They cannot do positioning for traction , drain, VAC ,complex device ,immediate post surgical ,unconcious,drowsy patient.(depends on assessment) 6207584188
