Description
As a CTO & Co-founder at Murm, a social connect platform dedicated to addressing the growing issue of loneliness through fostering meaningful, activity-based companionship, your primary responsibility will be taking ownership of building and scaling our platform across web and mobile. You will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end development of a multi-platform app (iOS, Android, and Web), defining and executing the technology roadmap and product architecture, setting up and managing cloud infrastructure, databases, and DevOps, collaborating closely on product features, UI/UX, and user journeys, assembling and leading a small, agile tech team, and making key product and engineering decisions as a co-founder. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 7 years of full-stack development experience, a proven track record in building and launching consumer apps or marketplaces, expertise in technologies like Flutter/React Native, Node.js, Firebase, or AWS, strong product thinking and a user-first approach, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, and a genuine interest in creating technology that fosters human connection and social well-being.
