Overall Mission The role of the Station Manager will be to lead the operations at the Hyderabad, India branch with a focus on delivering superior customer service, improving operational efficiency, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This will be achieved by managing day-to-day logistics, fostering client relationships, optimizing resources, and leading a high-performing team while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Main Contributions Branch Management & Leadership Manage the Entire Branch by overseeing all aspects of both the Bangalore and Chennai branches; ensuring that daily operations are efficient, well-coordinated, and meet the organization’s standards. This includes managing staff, resources, facilities, and the day-to-day activities of the branch. Controlling Agents and Vendors by overseeing relationships with external agents, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality service and adherence to contractual obligations. This includes monitoring contracts for services such as pest control, fire extinguisher maintenance, and other necessary operations. Clinical Trials & Pharma: Support domestic networks and site coordination for clinical trials and pharmaceutical inventions as well as operational needs related to clinical trials and pharmaceutical activities. Branch Development & Client Relationship Management Client Relationship Management: A key contribution is ensuring the continuous development of relationships with both existing and new clients by maintaining close communication, understanding client needs and delivering consistent service. This role will contribute directly to client satisfaction and retention. client base, and developing a new network of agents for domestic and international logistics. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities and expand export/import of shipments; particularly time-sensitive and temperature-controlled goods Client Follow-ups: Regularly follow up with clients, airlines, and customs authorities Agent Network: Develop new agent networks and strengthen existing relationships with agents. Temperature-Controlled Logistics & Cold Chain Management Monitor Cold Chain Logistics: Ensure that temperature-sensitive shipments, including pharmaceuticals and clinical trials, are handled with care and in compliance with cold chain standards Quality Control and temperature-controlled logistics: Oversee all aspects of temperature-control logistics to ensure goods are transported and stored at correct temperatures, including the management of vehicles, freezers, cool rooms, and refrigerators Monitoring Operations: Supervise staff, vehicles, storage units (freezers, fridges, cool rooms), DG (Dangerous Goods), and office assistants Operational Audits: M anage and oversee operational department audits, ensuring that all records and processes are in order, and addressing any discrepancies or findings raised during the audit process Operational Cost Reduction: Identify cost-reduction opportunities while ensuring that targets are met.
