Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing a wide variety of traditional and contemporary South Indian dishes, including but not limited to dosa, idli, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biryanis, and regional specialties from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes with consistency and high quality. Plan and design a diverse South Indian menu, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Ensure food is cooked hygienically and presented attractively. Monitor food stock, manage kitchen inventory, and ensure minimal waste. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times. Comply with food safety and sanitation standards. Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team to meet customer expectations. Innovate and introduce new dishes that reflect traditional South Indian flavors with a modern touch.
