**Job Title:** Regional Sales Manager (RSM) West (Trade Sales) **Industry:** LED Lighting **Region Covered:** Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan **Experience Required:** Minimum 5 years (Lighting Industry preferred) **Reporting To:** CMD **CTC:** As per industry standards Job Purpose: To lead and grow the trade channel business (dealer/distributor sales) in the Western region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan) for LED lighting products. Responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding trade channel partners, and driving market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategy for dealer and distribution channels in the assigned region. Appoint, onboard, and nurture new dealers/distributors while strengthening existing relationships. Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with accountability for channel-wise performance. Monitor channel partner performance and resolve operational issues to ensure consistent business flow. Plan and implement trade schemes, offers, and marketing support for dealers/distributors. Conduct market mapping to identify potential areas for expansion and penetration. Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, marketing, finance) for timely order execution, stock availability, and scheme settlements. Lead and mentor Area Sales Executives / Territory Managers reporting under the region. Regular field visits to monitor dealer visibility, branding, secondary sales, and competitor activities. Ensure timely collections and maintain channel credit discipline. Key Requirements: Graduate (any stream); MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus. Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the lighting industry or allied sectors (electricals, hardware, consumer durables). Proven experience in managing a dealer/distributor network with strong market knowledge of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. High self-motivation and ability to work independently with travel readiness
