Job Title: Credit Review_ Fund/Franchise Finance (Sr Associate/ Delivery Lead/Delivery Manager)

  • Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office)

  • Work hours: 10am to 7pm /1pm-10pm

  • Experience Level: 2-8 years

  • Department: Lending Services

  • 0-2 months' notice candidates preferred due to business need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze franchise lending opportunities by evaluating borrower financial performance, repayment capacity, key underwriting metrics, and operating risks to support sound credit recommendations.

  • Analyze franchise concepts, market positioning, industry dynamics, and operator strength by evaluating business performance, management capability, franchisor relationships, compliance with franchise standards, and overall competitiveness within approved franchise sectors.

  • Assess loan structure, repayment sources, collateral coverage, and covenant requirements, while preparing credit memorandums that evaluate financial performance, key risks, policy exceptions, and mitigants to support informed credit recommendations.

  • Evaluate collateral and enterprise value through analysis of appraisals, valuations, and recovery prospects to support credit decisions.

  • Monitor borrower performance, covenant compliance, liquidity, leverage, and credit quality through periodic reviews, risk rating assessments, industry trend analysis, and portfolio risk management activities.

  • Partner with Credit Officers to gather required information, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of reviews within established deadlines.

  • Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with fund sponsors, relationship managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions and effective portfolio management.

Key Competencies

  • Strong understanding of credit principles, policies and regulations, loan products.

  • Post graduation degree in MBA Finance or M. Com or equivalent degree. CFA qualification is preferable, however not mandatory.

  • 2-8 years experience in credit report writing

  • Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Experience of franchise finance/Fund Finance domain for a US based bank will be an added advantage
