Credit Analyst - Mid & Large Corporate Segment

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for credit underwriting and appraisal of Mid-Market / Large Corporate / Corporate Banking clients.
• Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, cash flows, ratios and overall financial health of borrowers.
• Evaluate creditworthiness, repayment capacity, business model, industry outlook and management quality.
• Prepare detailed credit appraisal notes, sanction proposals and credit recommendations for new and existing customers.
• Assess various credit facilities including Working Capital, Term Loans, LC/BG, Overdraft, Cash Credit and other structured facilities.
• Review customer banking conduct, existing liabilities, repayment track record and credit bureau reports.
• Identify key credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigants, covenants, collateral and security structures.
• Monitor the existing credit portfolio, including financial performance, account conduct, covenant compliance and early-warning signals.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Risk, Legal, Operations and Business teams to ensure smooth credit processing and disbursement.
• Ensure all proposals are aligned with the bank's credit policies, risk appetite and RBI/regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic reviews and renewals of existing limits and recommend suitable changes based on business and credit performance.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in Credit Underwriting / Credit Analysis / Credit Risk within Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience in Mid-Market, Large Corporate, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking or Wholesale Banking is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit appraisal, working capital assessment and cash-flow analysis.
• Exposure to clients with 50 Cr+ turnover (for Mid Corporate) and 500 Cr+ turnover (for Large Corporate) would be relevant.
• Candidates from banks/NBFCs with experience in end-to-end credit underwriting and portfolio management would be suitable.
