Your Role As our Business Development Specialist, you will: Generate and manage business leads Proactively source new opportunities through referrals, networking, bridal shows, digital outreach, and strategic partnerships. Maintain a structured CRM pipeline to track and nurture high-quality leads. Convert leads into clients Conduct discovery calls and in-person consultations to understand client vision, discuss our value, and deliver persuasive proposals. Confidently close deals, and secure commitments. Build strategic relationships Cultivate strong ties with HNI clients, venues, vendors (florists, stylists, caterers), and partners in the luxury wedding ecosystem. Leverage vendor partnerships and referrals to fuel growth. Collaborate cross-functionally Work closely with the planning, décor, and design teams to align client expectations with service execution. Provide actionable client insights to support seamless delivery and enhance satisfaction. Analyze & report performance Report on KPIs such as number of leads, conversion ratio, closed revenue, and pipeline value. Develop strategies to continually refine lead sources, messaging, and outreach methods. What We're Looking For Experience & Industry Knowledge 1–2 years (or more) in business development, sales, or client-facing roles—ideally within wedding planning, luxury events, décor, or hospitality Solid understanding of wedding industry dynamics: lead sources, client expectations, vendor roles, and luxury market nuances. Sales & Lead Generation Skills Demonstrated success sourcing and converting leads, cold outreach, and networking. Exceptional Communication Articulate, poised, and persuasive in phone, email, and in-person interactions. Confident pitching ability tailored to high-net-worth clients. Relationship-Builder Proven ability to build and maintain high-trust relationships with affluent clients, vendor partners, and internal teams.
