Position Description – Intern Job description: A Security GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) intern assist the company's cybersecurity and compliance programs by assisting with risk assessments, policy development, and internal/external customer audits. Key responsibilities include helping with documentation, performing gap analyses against standards like ISO 27001, and using GRC tools for tracking and reporting of remediation. The role involves collaboration with engineering, IT, legal, and audit teams to ensure adherence to policies and to help improve the organization's risk posture. Job Description What you will contribute (key responsibilities) Expected working hours are IST (17:30 - 00:30) approximately. Act as the bridge between the product development and ProdOps SRE/Support teams, ensuring continuity of service, ongoing continuous improvement, and technical excellence to facilitate both a fast & efficient product evolution cycle and outstanding client experience outcomes. Working on a shift basis as level 3 support, to own incidents escalated within defined SLAs. Define and document standard runbooks and operating procedures. Java Application Development and Support Experience. AWS Experience and Certification are required. Experience with AWS-related network constructs (EC2, S3, VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables), secure network connectivity mechanisms (VPN, Zero Trust, Proxies, etc.), and troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS. Experience in leveraging scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby) and CI/CD tools (Terraform and CloudFormation) for BAU support, task automation, and environment/release management. Red Hat – Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator preferred. In-depth, hands-on development/administrative experience with RHEL. POSITION Qualified candidates are being considered for openings within the Database Operations group at C&R Software, India. These candidates will possess a strong background in SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL database management and administration. The individual will partner with product support, and DevOps CSM to keep databases secured, healthy and up to date to meet SLAs. The position is part of the Database Operations group which focuses on managing, maintaining, and securing databases in the AWS Cloud. This position requires an extensive experience with MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL and experience with AWS Cloud services. The candidate is expected to manage SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases in the cloud. The candidate should be responsible to manage and maintain databases in AWS Cloud. The candidate should have a solid understanding of RDS cluster, taking snapshot of RDS instance, monitor database performance issues and resolve them, and participate in On-Call rotation as needed. Previous experience within Banking and Financial Services is preferred. This position is based in India. This is a remote position. Report progress status to team manager various database support tickets and other projects. Manage, maintain, and secure RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL and MSSQL databases. Understand the PL SQL scripts provided in the change and be able to make a call if scripts are not well performant or not correct. Troubleshoot and resolve SSRS issues. Proactive and take ownership of highly visible issues and projects. Establish partnership with other teams and drive projects. Able to provide database level technical leadership and mentor junior DBAs. Establish database support standards to help in the areas of database support with minimal interruptions. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. This is Mid-Senior level Database Engineer. 12+ years of IT industry experience. 10+ experience in database administration roles in MSSQL, MySQL and Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL. Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments. Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with cloud database infrastructure management and administration. Extensive experience in HA/DR in major enterprise database systems. Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services.
