As a Project Research Associate at ICMR-National Institute of Cholera & Enteric Diseases, your role will involve contributing to the CRISPR based diagnosis of COVID-19 using paper microfluidics project under the guidance of Dr. Alok Kumar Chakrabarti. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting research on CRISPR based diagnosis of COVID-19 using paper microfluidics - Collaborating with the project team to achieve research goals - Performing molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR - Writing research papers for publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria: - Hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university or have equivalent qualifications - Possess at least 3 years of research, teaching, and design experience after obtaining a Master's degree - Have authored at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal - Ideally, have a doctoral thesis focused on basic or disease-related research - Demonstrate hands-on expertise in molecular biology, tissue culture, and real-time PCR techniques The monthly consolidated salary for this position is Rs. 47,000/- plus HRA as per ICMR Rules.
