Couchbase DBA

Strong hands-on experience with Couchbase Server administration and cluster management

Good understanding of NoSQL concepts, data modeling, and architecture

Experience with N1QL queries, indexing, and query optimization

Knowledge of Couchbase XDCR (Cross Data Center Replication) and high availability configurations

Familiarity with other NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis will be an added advantage

Couchbase Capella

Knowledge and hands-on experience with Couchbase Capella (Database-as-a-Service platform)

Understanding of Couchbase Capella cluster deployment, configuration, and management

Familiarity with Couchbase Capella security features, including user access management, IP whitelisting, and data encryption

Experience in migrating workloads from on-premise Couchbase environments to Couchbase Capella

Knowledge of Couchbase Capella APIs and integration with application environments

Understanding of cost management and optimization within the Couchbase Capella platform

Scripting

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, Python, or Perl

Experience in writing scripts for automation, monitoring, and database maintenance tasks

Ability to develop scripts for backup, recovery, and health check automation

Ansible

Hands-on experience in developing and managing Ansible Playbooks

Experience in using Ansible for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment

Knowledge of Ansible Tower / AWX will be an added advantage

General

Good understanding of Linux / Unix operating systems

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage

Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery best practices

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience with Couchbase Mobile and Sync Gateway

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to cloud-based NoSQL services

Relevant certifications in Couchbase, Cloud, or Database technologies
