Cosmetologist

Responsibilities:
Patient Consultation & Assessment:Conduct thorough patient consultations to understand their skin, hair, and aesthetic concerns.Perform comprehensive skin and hair analyses to accurately diagnose conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans.Discuss treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks, and post-procedure care with patients in a clear and empathetic manner.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress.Performing Aesthetic Procedures:Execute a wide array of non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic dermatology procedures, including but not limited to:Chemical Peels (superficial, medium depth)Laser & Light Therapy (e.g., Laser Hair Reduction, Fractional Lasers like CO2 and MNRF, Q-Switched Nd: YAG, IPL, LED light therapy, Soprano devices)Medical-Grade Facials (e.g., HydraFacial, PhotoFacial, Carbon Facial, Vampire Facial, Age Lock, CTT, Red Carpet, Zo Facial, Bio Bright, Mirapeel, Dermapen 4, Dermafrac)Skin Needling (Dermapen4, Nanopore, Plasmapen)Energy-Based Devices (EBDs) such as Monopolar RF, Bipolar skin tightening, and HIFU skin tightening.Slimming treatments (e.g., Cryolipolysis, Injection Lipolysis - Fatx)Hair treatments (e.g., PRP, GFC, Qr678, Meso, Scalp Clear Therapy)Cautery procedures (for moles, warts, skin tags, corns, freckles, comedones)(If qualified and trained for injectables, under supervision of MD Dermatologist) Potentially assist with or perform injectable aesthetic treatments like Botox, Dermal Fillers, and Threads, adhering strictly to protocols and legal guidelines.Client Education & Aftercare:Educate patients on proper skincare routines, product usage, and lifestyle modifications to enhance and maintain treatment results.Provide detailed post-treatment care instructions and follow-up support.Collaboration & Teamwork:Work closely with dermatologists, other medical professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimized outcomes.Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development.Training & Observership Programs:Actively participate in and support the clinic's cosmetology courses and observership programs, potentially assisting in hands-on training and theoretical sessions for aspiring cosmetologists and medical professionals.Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine through ongoing education, workshops, and industry conferences.Clinic Operations & Standards:Adhere to strict medical safety, hygiene, and sterilization protocols.Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
