Job Description: Electrician – Project Execution Position: Electrician Department: Projects / Operations Reporting To: Project Engineer / Project Manager Salary: 20k to 24lk Net Salary Requirement: 2 Candidates Location: Site-Based Role Summary The Electrician – Project Execution is responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites. The role ensures that all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, client requirements, and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Installation Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, cabling, and termination work as per project drawings. Install electrical panels, distribution boards (DB), and control panels. Assist in installation of lighting systems, power sockets, earthing systems, and equipment connections. Execute work according to safety guidelines and project timelines. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Identify, diagnose, and repair electrical faults. Test circuits, equipment, and systems to ensure proper functionality. Resolve site-level electrical issues promptly to avoid delays. 3. Testing & Commissioning Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and equipment verification. Ensure all electrical components meet quality and safety standards. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily work reports and update supervisors on progress. Record material usage and raise requirements when needed. Ensure proper documentation of test results and site activities. 5. Safety Compliance Follow all safety standards and use appropriate PPE. Ensure safe handling of tools, cables, ladders, and electrical equipment. Report hazardous conditions or near-miss incidents immediately. Skills & Qualifications Required: ITI / Diploma in Electrical (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 4–6 years of experience as an Electrician (project/site). Strong knowledge of wiring, electrical systems, and control circuits. Ability to read SLDs, electrical drawings, and panel layouts. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical panels, and equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify and fix electrical issues. Perform preventive maintenance on machines and electrical systems. Handle electrical troubleshooting and diagnose faults in circuits and equipment.
