This particular role offers the position of Core Network Engineer as an Associate Consultant with 10 to 15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure. The main locations for this role are in Bangalore, Chennai, or Hyderabad. As a Networks Expert, you will be a crucial part of the IT Consulting Business Unit, focusing on network strategy, solution design, and network management systems. Your responsibilities include responding to RFPs, advising clients on network transformation, and recommending COTS solutions for network management to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. RFP Response & Network Consulting: - Analyze and interpret telecom RFPs for network infrastructure, automation, and digital transformation. - Assess current network landscapes of clients and propose improvements. - Develop strategies for network transformation, including migration to wireless networks. - Provide recommendations for COTS network management solutions. 2. Network Strategy & Solution Design: - Design end-to-end network solutions covering WAN, LAN, RAN, and core network architecture. - Offer strategic consulting on network modernization, optimization, and automation. - Develop roadmaps for network evolution, digital transformation, and AI-driven analytics. - Recommend best practices for integrating OSS/BSS platforms into telecom networks. 3. Network Automation & AI/Analytics Implementation: - Guide clients on network automation strategies like SDN and NFV. - Identify AI and machine learning use cases for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection. - Implement analytics-driven insights for network performance management. 4. Core Network Expertise & Technology Advisory: - Provide technical expertise in wired and wireless networks including 5G, LTE, fiber optics, and enterprise networking. - Advise on core network architecture, IP/MPLS networking, and telecom protocols. - Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies and industry trends. Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in network engineering, solution design, and consulting. - Strong expertise in network management systems, WAN, LAN, RAN, and core network concepts. - Hands-on experience in wired and wireless network technologies. - Proven ability to respond to RFPs, develop proposals, and create network transformation strategies. - Knowledge of SDN, NFV, cloud networking, and virtualization. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in IT consulting with telecom clients. - Knowledge of AI/ML in network management and analytics-driven operations. - Familiarity with COTS network management solutions and vendor evaluation. - Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, AWS/Azure Networking, or SDN-related certifications.
