QA Automation Lead (Python & Playwright Specialist) 6 to 9 Years | Cora Systems (India Team) Location: Bagalur, Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 6 to 9 Years (Automation Experience: 4+ Years mandatory) Role: QA Automation Lead Work Mode: 4 days WFH + 1 day office Job ID : JZ251012 About the Role We are hiring a QA Automation Lead (Senior Individual Contributor + Team Lead role) with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and the ability to drive the entire automation lifecycle for our enterprise PPM (Project & Portfolio Management) SaaS product. The ideal candidate must have experience building automation frameworks from scratch , leading teams, and delivering high-quality automation coverage across UI and API. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks (UI & API). Write end-to-end automation scripts for new features and regression suites. Lead & mentor automation engineers; review scripts and enforce best practices. Own automation strategy, planning, and execution for sprints & releases. Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (Git / DevOps). Perform functional, regression, and API automation as needed. Collaborate with Product, Development, and PMO teams to understand workflows. Ensure quality metrics and complete automation coverage for complex PPM modules. Required Skills 6+ years of QA experience with 4+ years in automation . Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript / Python). Ability to build automation frameworks from scratch (mandatory). Strong in UI + API automation (Postman, Playwright API). Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, Agile methodologies. Experience working with Azure DevOps / Jira for test management. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Experience mentoring and guiding 2 -5 team members. Good to Have Automation experience in SaaS / cloud-based platforms. Knowledge of Project Management or PPM tools (MS Project, Primavera, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, etc.). Experience with jBehave, Allure reporting, and DevOps toolchains Work Model & Employment Terms Hybrid model: 4 days WFH + 1 day office (Bagalur, Bangalore) Shift: UK Shift Contract: 6 months Full-time conversion based on performance Compensation: 15 to 28 LPA (based on experience for the right candidate) Why Join Us?
