Contezy specializes in scalable web infrastructure, automation, and AI-driven data systems. We require robust and highly efficient data and network backbones to power our operations. Position Sum y You will be responsible for the health, performance, and scaling of our data tiers. This includes managing, optimizing, and migrating databases (PostgreSQL, goDB) and providing essential data infrastructure support to development teams, including specialized assistance for data scraping operations and high-volume queries. Key Responsibilities Manage, itor, and tune multiple database instances, including PostgreSQL (for structured data) and goDB (for unstructured data). Execute database migrations, schema evolution, and replication/clustering strategies for high availability. Analyze and optimize slow SQL and NoSQL queries, working directly with developers to improve application efficiency. Oversee network configuration related to data access, proxy pools, and secure data transfer protocols. Provide expertise and consultation on data modeling, indexing strategies, and database selection for new scraping projects. Implement database security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases (indexing, partitioning, performance tuning). Experience with NoSQL database management, specifically goDB (sharding, aggregation pipeline optimization). Proficiency in database migration tools and data manipulation languages. Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) and security best practices related to data access. Ability to profile database load and troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks. Preferred Skills Experience with additional databases (e.g., Redis, ElasticSearch). Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, goDB Atlas, Azure DB). Knowledge of data scraping infrastructure, proxy networks, and load balancing. Experience automating database maintenance tasks using shell scripting or Python.
