As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in choosing the right dress, providing product information, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will also help maintain the store’s appearance and manage daily sales activities. Key Responsibilities:Greet Customers: Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding the perfect dress. Product Knowledge: Explain the features, fabric, design, and styling options of dresses to customers. Customer Assistance: Guide customers through the available dress options, understand their preferences, and recommend suitable products. Fitting Room Assistance: Assist customers in the fitting rooms, providing advice on sizing and alterations, if required. Sales and Upselling: Encourage additional purchases by offering accessories or matching garments. Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle payments, and provide receipts. Inventory Management: Keep the display well-organized, replenish stock as needed, and assist in receiving new shipments. Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times. Customer Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service to encourage repeat visits. Qualifications and Skills:Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in textiles or fashion, is a plus. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Sales Skills: Ability to close sales, upsell products, and meet sales targets. Appearance: Well-groomed with an understanding of fashion trends. Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and extended hours, as needed.
