Job Description

As the Communication and Branding Specialist for the school, you will be responsible for managing the complete communication eco-system to drive the brand messaging effectively through various online and offline channels. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the school's Unique Selling Proposition (USP) is clearly reflected across all communication touchpoints. You will be in charge of creating, managing, and regularly updating content, events, and announcements on the School Website. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and posting engaging content on the school's social media platforms to increase the engagement rate and reach of the brand. Managing press releases, building media relations in the local market, and handling the school's online brand reputation through review generation and management will also be part of your key responsibilities. You will be required to write regular blogs to drive brand interest and improve SEO rankings. Internal communications play a crucial role, and you will need to handle all school-related communications such as principal updates, monthly newsletters, and other parent communications effectively. Moreover, creating new marketing collaterals including brochures, posters, and emailers to support marketing teams in different stages of the customer buying cycle will be essential. Ensuring consistency in brand communications by managing the brand's visual identity across various touchpoints is another key aspect of your role. Collaborating with agencies to develop new campaigns and strategies that drive admissions for the school will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of work experience in communication, branding, and marketing. Strong content writing skills, experience in independently managing brand social media handles, and a good understanding of digital marketing and performance analytics are essential. Experience in writing press releases, managing PR distribution, and media relations is required. Additionally, prior experience in branding and working with designers or agencies to create creative collaterals will be beneficial.,
