THE ROLE:

Based in India, you will lead the end-to-end commercial strategy and execution for BIODERMA across both Retail (General Trade) and Prescription (Rx) channels.

You will be responsible for driving sustainable growth by strengthening dermatologist recommendation, accelerating consumer conversion, and ensuring excellence in retail execution. The role spans retail channel development, prescription demand generation, distributor management, commercial planning, and cross-functional leadership to deliver both topline growth and profitability.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute the India commercial strategy, ensuring balanced growth across Retail (General Trade) and Prescription (Rx) channels.
• Deliver sustainable sales growth, market share gains and profitability while ensuring strong inventory health and trade-spend effectiveness.
• Lead annual business planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management processes.
• Lead the retail commercial agenda across General Trade, pharmacy chains and other relevant retail channels.
• Strengthen distribution, visibility, merchandising and execution excellence at the point of sale.
• Develop and execute the national prescription growth strategy, increasing dermatologist recommendation and advocacy for BIODERMA brands.
• Build strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor prescription trends, recommendation share, doctor productivity and return on investment of promotional activities.
• Ensure product availability at key retail outlets recommended by healthcare professionals.
• Develop omnichannel initiatives that strengthen both healthcare professional engagement and consumer conversion.
• Build organizational capabilities, succession plans and a strong performance culture.
• Lead, coach and develop high-performing Retail and Prescription field teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a demanding yet caring leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities and has a passion for building brands, teams and businesses. Concretely, we are looking for a person who has:

• 20+ years of commercial leadership experience within dermocosmetics, pharmaceuticals, beauty, consumer healthcare or premium FMCG sectors.
• Strong Retail / General Trade leadership experience .
• Exposure to prescription-driven categories, healthcare professional engagement or medical promotion models (Desirable but not mandatory)
• Demonstrated success in managing large field teams, distributor networks and complex channel structures.
