Coding Specialist

Experience: 1+ Years Certification: CPC / COC / CCS Mandatory Qualification: BPT, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BOT, or Life Sciences Job Description We are looking for experienced Medical Coding Specialists to ensure accurate coding of medical records in accordance with CMS guidelines and industry standards. Key Responsibilities - Review medical records and assign accurate CPT, ICD, HCPCS codes, and modifiers. - Analyze patient documentation to determine appropriate codes for medical billing. - Resolve coding-related queries from clients and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, NCCI edits, and coding standards. - Support quality and productivity improvement initiatives. - Monitor pending queues and review coding feedback reports. - Stay updated on coding guidelines and regulatory changes. - Mentor new joiners during the On-the-Job Training (OJT) phase, as required. Required Skills - Minimum 1 years of relevant medical coding experience. - Mandatory CPC / COC / CCS certification. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Good understanding of CPT, ICD, HCPCS, CMS guidelines, and NCCI edits. - Excellent comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and communication skills. - Typing speed of 30–35 WPM preferred. - Interested candidates can apply with their updated resume.
