Role Overview

  We are seeking a passionate and skilled React Developer to join our frontend engineering team.

  Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience building responsive web applications using React.js.

  A strong grasp of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals is required.

  You will be responsible for building clean, modular, and high-performance UI components, and collaborating with backend, design, and product teams.

  A collaborative mindset and focus on user experience are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and maintain reusable UI components using React.js.

• 
  Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• 
  Ensure UIs are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.

• 
  Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• 
  Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers.

• 
  Optimize page performance and application load times.

  Work hands-on to understand and implement technical and business requirements.

• 
  Debug and resolve issues in large codebases with exceptional problem-solving skills.

• 
  Proactively identify solutions for challenging technical problems.

  Demonstrate product sense by influencing what we build and how we build it.

  Collaborate across teams, take feedback constructively, and contribute as a team player.

• 
  Step into tech-lead responsibilities when required for coordination and execution.

• 
  Explore APIs across the UBER environment and identify the right microservices for business use cases.

• 
  Convert high-level Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) into detailed Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and actionable engineering tasks.

• 
  Work closely with business teams to understand functionality and translate it into backend logic.
