As a Technical Writer at Coastal Seven Consulting, located in a hybrid work environment, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for our AI products and technology platforms. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with the product manager and engineering team to create technical guides, API documentation, process workflows, and user manuals. These documents will facilitate seamless adoption and usage of our AI-driven solutions by our clients. Your key responsibilities will include creating, updating, and managing product manuals, technical specifications, user guides, and API documentation for our AI-driven solutions. You will also be tasked with developing detailed process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to ensure clarity in implementation. Additionally, you will write and maintain SDK, API, and integration documentation to assist developers in effectively interacting with our AI services. Building and maintaining internal and external knowledge bases, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration will be a significant aspect of your role, as you will work closely with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers to extract information and translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation. Creating visual aids such as process flowcharts, system architecture diagrams, and infographics to enhance comprehension will be essential. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date with product releases and feature enhancements. Additionally, contributing technical blogs, whitepapers, and case studies to showcase AI innovations and applications will be encouraged. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in AI, SaaS, or enterprise technology. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and software development workflows is essential. Proficiency in documentation tools like Confluence, GitHub, Markdown, DITA, MadCap Flare, Swagger, or Postman is required. Your ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation will be crucial. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams are necessary.
