Job Description

Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and calibrate grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, CNC) to grind specific angles, contours, and surfaces.
Material Preparation: Select appropriate grinding wheels, attachments, and tools for different materials (metal, plastic, stone) and shapes.
Part Finishing: Grind, sand, polish, and deburr parts to remove rust, scale, welds, and excess material to meet tolerances.
Quality Control: Inspect workpieces using calipers, micrometers, and surface plates to ensure they meet print specifications and identify flaws.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, clean equipment, and sharpen tools.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety practices, wear protective gear (glasses, etc.), and report hazards.
Documentation: Record production data, log operations, and report defects or machine issues to supervisors.
Material Handling: Manually lift, carry, and position parts for grinding.

Job Type: Full-time
