Position Summary The Delegate Sales Executive is responsible for selling delegate registrations for conferences, summits, training programs, and corporate events. This role involves identifying target audiences, generating leads, building relationships with prospects, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and negotiation. Delegate Sales & Revenue Generation Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual delegate sales targets. Conduct high-volume outbound sales calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups. Convert qualified leads into confirmed paid attendees. Present event value propositions clearly and confidently to prospects. 2. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management Research relevant industries and identify key target delegate groups. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outreach, referrals, and networking. Update CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) with accurate lead and sales information. Validate and qualify leads based on event themes and professional relevance. 3. Client Engagement & Relationship Building Engage directly with C-level executives, directors, researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals. Understand clients’ needs and tailor event solutions accordingly. Provide detailed event information including agenda, speakers, benefits, and pricing. Maintain long-term relationships to promote future event participation. 4. Coordination & Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaigns, lead generation, and messaging. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of delegates. Collaborate with customer service and finance for invoice, payment, and registration support. Share client insights and market feedback to optimize event planning and strategies. 5. Event Support & Representation Support virtual and onsite events as required. Attend events to assist with delegate check-in, coordination, and networking. Represent the organization professionally and build rapport with participants. Skills & QualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare, Management, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in delegate sales , inside sales, business development, or telesales (preferably in events/conferences). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong phone presence and confidence in speaking with senior decision-makers. Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools. Preferred: Experience in conference or corporate event sales. Knowledge of global markets and industry verticals (healthcare, technology, finance, etc.).
