Description
As a Cloud Cyber Security Architect with 10+ years of experience in IT, your role will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing secure cloud architectures on Azure and/or AWS platforms. You will be responsible for leading the cloud security strategy, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various teams to integrate security throughout the cloud lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design and manage secure cloud architecture for Azure and AWS environments. - Establish cloud security standards, policies, and reference architectures. - Implement Zero Trust Architecture and security best practices for cloud and hybrid setups. - Architect and administer Identity & Access Management (IAM) using Azure AD and AWS IAM. - Develop secure network architectures including VNET/VPC, firewalls, WAF, and private endpoints. - Ensure data security through encryption, key management, and secure storage practices. - Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines following DevSecOps principles. - Perform cloud security risk assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews. - Deploy and oversee cloud-native security services like Defender, Sentinel, GuardDuty, and Security Hub. - Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring activities. - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and internal security policies. - Serve as a security advisor to stakeholders and provide mentorship to junior security engineers. Required Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on cloud security architecture for at least 5 years. - Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS platforms. - In-depth knowledge of cloud security architecture, governance, IAM, network security, data protection, and key management. - Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM, and CloudFormation. - Familiarity with SIEM/SOC operations, incident response procedures, security audits, and compliance frameworks. - Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer / Solutions Architect, CISSP, CCSP. - Experience in enterprise or regulated environments like BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, etc. - Background in hybrid cloud and on-premises integration. Soft Skills: - Effective stakeholder management. - Leadership and mentoring capabilities. - Ability to make risk-based decisions. - Strong problem-solving skills.
