About the Role We are expanding our technical team and seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) with strong experience in building energy modeling , code compliance, and ASHRAE/IECC methodologies. This role focuses on reviewing, validating, and certifying building performance models and producing high-quality compliance documentation for commercial and multifamily projects. Responsibilities Review and approve energy modeling results for commercial & residential projects Validate code compliance for ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, and related standards Provide engineering judgment on proposed energy measures Prepare or review stamped compliance reports Communicate with project managers regarding clarifications Ensure all deliverables meet professional and regulatory standards Required Qualifications Active PE license (Mechanical or Electrical) 5+ years experience in building energy modeling Strong proficiency with one or more: EnergyPlus Deep understanding of ASHRAE 90.1 Appendix G Experience preparing compliance or LEED-related documentation Strong attention to detail and technical writing ability Why Work With Us Flexible remote contract work Ability to focus on high-quality technical review rather than full-model production Work on diverse, modern commercial real estate projects Long-term contract opportunities for high performers
