Job Description

Client Partner - Medical Coding

Key Responsibilities:

Review medical reports thoroughly
to understand and interpret all procedures, services, and diagnoses related to interventional radiology.
Identify the correct procedures/interventional services and diagnoses
from the documentation.
Accurately assign
CPT, ICD-10, and appropriate Modifiers
.
Work proactively on
coding-related denials or issues
to ensure claims are paid or processed to the next stage.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity in all coding assignments.

Job Requirements:

Graduates in
life sciences
with a minimum of
two years of experience in IVR coding
.
Strong knowledge of
human anatomy and physiology
.
Proven experience in coding both
simple and complex IVR procedures
.
Exposure to
CPT-4, ICD-10, Modifiers, and HCPCS coding
systems.
A
current coding certification with valid proof is required
.
CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CIC, or COC certification from AAPC/AHIMA is a significant plus.
Experience with
Excode and ImageNow
software is also a plus.
