Role & responsibilities Need to be a good subject matter expert (SME) and support technical teams Abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records and assigns appropriate ICD 10 CM and/or CPT codes. Meeting the required targets and set expectations with quality Must maintain a 95% accuracy and completeness rate To participate in team meetings and be a good Team player Should have proficiency and hands on expertise in PQRS measures & Modifiers Flagging up potential problems at an early stage. Willing to learn concepts quickly and develop in the area of specialization Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Life Science graduates, B.P.T, B.Pharm, B.Sc. Nursing Experience: Must have at least 1 year of active work experience in Radiology Coding. Should possess good knowledge in Anatomy. Should have hands on experience with Low level and mid-level procedures Candidates with more than 2-year experience should be familiar with High level procedures as well Hands on knowledge in coding HCPCS coding, CCI edits, LCD, NCD coverage determinations etc. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organized and able to meet deadlines Flexible to work in shifts if necessary Understand business requirements and cooperate when needed
