Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Auditor (Operations & Maintenance) to join our Audit & Compliance Team. The selected candidate will conduct technical audits, assess O&M practices, identify gaps, and ensure compliance with statutory norms and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct technical audits of O&M activities across generation, transmission, or distribution assets. Review maintenance records, SOPs, checklists, and equipment health reports. Identify non-conformities, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions. Assess asset performance, reliability, and adherence to OEM/industry standards. Evaluate safety practices, site documentation, statutory compliance, and operational controls. Prepare audit reports with findings, observations, and improvement recommendations. Coordinate with site teams for data collection, verification, and closure of audit points. Support process improvements and the implementation of industry best practices. Required Qualifications & Skills B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Prior Technical Audit experience in O&M is highly preferred. Strong understanding of power plant operations, substation equipment, transmission/distribution systems, or solar plants. Ability to interpret technical documents, SLDs, maintenance logs, and compliance records. Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing capabilities. Willingness to travel to various plants/sites as required. Preferred Experience Experience in the Power Sector will be a strong advantage. Exposure to O&M audits, compliance reviews, safety audits, or asset management processes.
