Civil Draftsman

As a Civil Draftsman at our leading Real Estate Developer & Construction Company in The Kingdom Of Bahrain, your role will involve preparing detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings, including site plans, grading plans, utility layouts (water, sewer, drainage), road designs, and structural details. You will work closely with Civil Engineers and Project Managers to understand project requirements and design specifications. It is essential to ensure all drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications. Additionally, you will review and revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site conditions. Managing and organizing drawing files and documentation effectively will also be part of your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities as a Civil Draftsman will include: - Assisting in quantity take-offs and material schedules from drawings - Maintaining accurate records of drawing revisions and versions - Reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers, consultants, clients, or site conditions - Managing, organizing, and archiving drawing files, models, and associated documentation within the project management system - Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion - Contributing to the development of drawing templates and libraries to enhance efficiency - Participating in design review meetings to provide input from a drafting perspective - Assisting in preparing permit application drawings and related documentation Qualification & Experience required for this role: - Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field - 2 - 3 years of proven experience as a Civil Draftsman, preferably within high-rise and villa construction - Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential - Experience with other relevant software such as Revit, SketchUp will be an added advantage - Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and drafting standards - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications accurately - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Good communication skills Join us in Bahrain and be a part of our dynamic team, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.,
