As a Health and Safety Officer at City Facilities Management (UK) Ltd and City Facilities Management (Distribution) Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing and delivering an effective Corporate Health and Safety service. This is crucial in ensuring that our organization meets its statutory responsibilities and provides safe working environments for employees, clients, and all individuals affected by our operations at retail, distribution, and office sites across the South of England and South Wales. Occasional travel to the Glasgow Head Office will be required. Your key accountabilities will include formulating and developing health and safety systems, procedures, and practices. Collaboration with other senior officers of the Company to maintain a corporate approach to management and execution of CFM's affairs is essential. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include undertaking Risk Assessments, preparing written safe systems of work, liaising with Enforcement agencies and ASDA Regional Compliance Team as required, and providing support on various initiatives across the City group of companies.
