Role Overview: You will be serving as the designated Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a prestigious client in Malaysia's financial services sector, leading the transformation of their security posture from infrastructure-centric to application-centric. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the client's digital ecosystem meets the highest security standards during their rapid digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Application Security & DevSecOps initiatives by standardizing and enforcing Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC) practices, overseeing API & Ecosystem Security, driving the Shift-Left Strategy, and defining Cloud-Native Security architectures. - Ensure Regulatory Compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) RMiT & Personal Data Protection Act by acting as the primary liaison for BNM, implementing the Cyber Resilience Framework, and overseeing mandatory assessments. - Manage Strategic Risk by implementing Zero-Trust Architecture, leveraging Threat Intelligence for proactive threat hunting, and evaluating Third-Party Risk of fintech vendors and cloud service providers. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives in the financial services sector. - Strong understanding of security tools like SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA. - In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements such as RMiT, IPDRR framework, and data protection laws. - Familiarity with cloud security, threat intelligence, and risk management practices.
