Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals and industry trends
• Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements
• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Optimize capital structure and manage liquidity to support strategic initiatives
• Evaluate and recommend financing options and investment opportunities
• Analyze financial and operational performance, providing insights to support decision making
• Collaborate with other executives to assess the financial impact of business initiatives
• Foster positive relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders
• Communicate the company's financial performance and strategy effectively
• Manage cash flow, investments, and banking relationships
• Optimize working capital and ensure efficient use of financial resources
• Develop talent and provide mentorship to enhance the team's capabilities

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in securing debt funding for working capital from Indian banks and financial institutions.
• Successfully secured funds exceeding Rs 1000 Crores.
• Proficient in managing relationships and negotiations with large consortiums of banks
• Demonstrated success in raising equity funding from Venture Capitalists (VCs) and Private Equity (PE) firms.
• Experience in Power industry handling leadership in Finance and Accounts function
• Proven track record in financial management and fundraising.
• Hands-on experience in managing structured financing.
• Accountable for audit processes related to financial management.
• Exceptional control over internal systems and processes.
• Strong ability to navigate and optimize financial operations.
