Job Description: Chief Engineer
Location: The Seven Seas Hotel, Rohini, Delhi a luxury 5 star propertyPosition: Chief EngineerIndustry: Hospitality / Hotel IndustryExperience Required: 12+ years.Position SummaryAs the Chief Engineer, you will be the strategic head of the Engineering Department, responsible for the total upkeep, maintenance, and efficient operation of the hotel’s physical building, equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, life safety systems, and sustainable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility: Establish and manage proactive Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, refrigeration, and life safety equipment2. Leadership: Departmental Management Lead, mentor, and evaluate the engineering team, including shift engineers, technicians, and specialized contractors.3. Budgeting: Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, gas) and implement innovative energy conservation and sustainability measures to reduce operational costs.4. Compliance: Safety Ensure strict adherence to local municipal regulations, environmental laws, building codes, and statutory compliance requirements.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Technical Expertise: Comprehensive hands-on and managerial knowledge of HVAC chillers, DG sets, HT/LT electrical panels, STP/WTP plants, fire alarm systems, BMS (Building Management Systems), and plumbing networks.
