Job Title: Accountant Company: Chetna Packaging Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 3years + (preferred) Job Summary: Chetna Packaging is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to handle daily financial operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Tally and strong Excel skills, along with a good understanding of accounting principles, sales reporting, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Daily Accounting: Record and maintain day-to-day purchase, sales, and general ledger transactions. Payment Follow-ups: Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers for timely collections. Bank Entries: Post and reconcile all bank transactions including receipts, payments, and charges. Sales Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports using Excel and Tally. Inventory Management: Track stock levels, update inventory records, and coordinate with store teams for audits. Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts. Tax Compliance: Assist in preparation of GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings. Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits. Key Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 2 years+ of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Prior hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory. Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles. Good communication, follow-up, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inventory-based or trading businesses. Knowledge of GST compliance and return filing procedures.
