Job Description: Chartered Accountant Accounts & Finance

Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, fund flow and cash flow management, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, supporting financial planning, monitoring cash flows, managing treasury activities, and assisting in audit and compliance-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Audit
- Handle end-to-end accounting and audit activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and supporting schedules.
- Conduct account reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and verification of financial transactions.
- Coordinate internal and statutory audit activities and provide the required financial documents and audit schedules.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial projections.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and analyze variances.
- Prepare financial reports and MIS for management review.
- Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency.
3. Fund Flow & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements.
- Track fund inflows and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
- Prepare fund flow statements and working capital reports.
- Forecast cash requirements and coordinate fund allocation based on business needs.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and short-term liquidity requirements.
4. Treasury Operations
- Monitor bank balances, banking transactions, and fund positions.
- Coordinate with banks for routine banking operations and financial documentation.
- Assist in managing short-term fund requirements and surplus liquidity.
- Monitor bank reconciliations, interest calculations, and applicable banking charges.
- Support treasury reporting and ensure timely execution of financial transactions.
5. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare periodic financial reports, MIS, and analytical statements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned financial and accounting activities.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
- Support management with financial analysis and data-driven insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Hands-on experience in accounting, audit, budgeting, cash flow, fund flow, and/or treasury operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial data analysis.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in financial planning, audit, treasury, and cash flow management will be preferred.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports, budget variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts will be an added advantage.
